Interior Design II

Description

CRSA is seeking a talented, creative, and driven Commercial Interior Designer to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovative and sustainable design, strong technical skills, and the ability to take a vision from concept to completion. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to exciting projects and collaborate within a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other consultants to ensure successful project execution.
  • Design Development: Research and aids in the selection of interior and exterior materials, furnishings and accessories including cost estimates.
  • Technical Documentation: Creates presentation boards,     interior elevation studies, displays, finish and furnishing specifications and documentation. Utilize Revit and other design tools to produce detailed and accurate technical drawings like floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and construction details with accuracy and adherence to building codes.
  • Deadline Management: Proven ability to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

     
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in interior design, or related study equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 7-10 years working under a certified interior designer.  
  • Certification: NCIDQ Certification (Level II) Required and Utah State Commercial Interior Design Certification (SCCID) preferred.
  • Proficiency: Skilled in Revit and other design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Bluebeam.
  • Competence: A solid understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Expertise: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to problem solve. Independently develop design concepts for interior spaces, including space planning, furniture layouts, color schemes, material selections, and lighting design based on client needs and project parameters, budget and schedule.
  • Design: Demonstrates experience in commercial interior design with a focus on creating innovative, functional, and sustainable solutions.
  • Leadership: Ability to take responsibility for design projects and effectively communicate design intent to clients and team members.
  • Independently develop design concepts for interior spaces, including space planning, furniture layouts, color schemes, material selections, and lighting design based on client needs and project parameters, budget and schedule.
