CRSA is seeking a Senior Architectural Technician with exceptional Revit skills and a deep understanding of building codes, accessibility requirements, and construction documentation. In this role, you will collaborate with project architects and managers to produce accurate technical drawings, coordinate design intent, and oversee the development of construction documents. You will also mentor junior staff and help maintain quality standards across all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Documentation: Produce and manage detailed Revit models, construction drawings, and contract documents to ensure accuracy and.
- Design Development: Support project architects in space planning, schematic design, and construction detailing, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to integrate design intent into construction documents.
- Mentorship & Training: Assist in the development of junior staff, providing guidance on best practices, technical standards, and efficient workflows.
- Quality Control: Maintain project documentation and ensure the most current models are used in decision-making.
- Deadline Management: Work independently and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality.
Qualifications:
- Education: Certification from a Technical College or a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related technical drafting program.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience working under a licensed architect in an architectural firm.
- Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Revit and experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Competence: Strong knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and construction documentation.
- Leadership: Ability to lead a production team and coordinate effectively across disciplines.
- Expertise: Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
