At the request of the city’s Planning Commission this project was designed with a “Victorian Train Station” theme. The first building in town to use such imagery, it is intended to set the standard for all future downtown development. The long horizontal canopies supported by heavy timber columns and splayed bracket capitals mimic train platform shelters from the old days while the arched entry flanked by period wall lamps provides a welcome invitation to arriving customers.
